Deborah works in porcelain, earthenware and stoneware, using various methods of firing. Her aim has always been to produce pots that give pleasure in their form and function. In 2004 she won a Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust Award, which allowed her to study with Svend Bayer with whom she continues to work to this day. For this exhibition she will be showing a variety of pots for the table and vessels for flowers, mainly using natural materials; it is a hit and miss process but one she finds continually interesting.
